MHO Volunteers Save Residents Money!

As you might have noticed, the fountain has been down for repairs recently. In an effort to contain costs to the MHO, several of your neighbors banded together to resolve the problem. While we did have to send the pump out for re-furbishing, all other tasks were accomplished in-house. It took about 20 man hours in total to complete the process. At around a minimum of $60/hr; a substantial sum was saved.

Please thank:
Warren Doss,        Jim Ritterskamp,        Bruce Mote,        Luke Coda,        Gary Pence,    and    Tim Hungerford
for all their efforts!

Breaking News!

Hello Mill Creek Overlook Residents!

Last nights annual HOA meeting was well attended. Thanks to all who have an interest in their neighborhood!

While several topics were covered, one of the most  pressing was the coming assessment to pay for sorely needed maintenance in our common areas around the pond. As you may have noticed, our HOA dues remain extremely low. Since it's inception, the HOA Board has chosen to run our budget on a shoestring. Instead of raising the overall dues every year to cover occasional expenses, they instead chose to keep the dues low and assess as required.  Please anticipate an assessment to arrive in the near future of around $33.  A big shout-out of thanks to the 'Grounds Committee' for getting required bids!

After serving for many years as our HOA President, Bruce Mote has chosen to step down from his post and become the 'Member At Large'. Tim Hungerford was unanimously voted in as the new president. When you see Bruce, please thank him for the tremendous job he did for years behind the scenes. It is an often thankless job, but very important. Nothing 'just happens' in our neighborhood; it takes volunteers. Please consider your responsibilities. "Many hands make light work"
